It's a start

I came home from work last night to an email from my mother telling me about the bleak state of affairs at Andrew School. After reading the articles and watching the video from the Telegraph Herald website (look on the right side of this page for the links), I decided something needed to be done. Last night I created a Facebook group (Help Save Andrew Community School) and this morning I've started up this blog. At the present, I'm just simply happy to spread awareness of the problems that Andrew Community School is facing. As things hopefully progress, this blog and the Facebook group can become a source to help us come up with a solution.

To be honest, right now I'm treading water just trying to figure out where to begin, so if anyone has any ideas just post something in the comments of this post or or on the Facebook group wall. My mission today/this weekend is to find out where donations, money or otherwise should be sent. I will write a post as soon as I know something.

The one thing I can be sure about is that anything will help. For example, the school is currently looking for TVs to play DVDs and videos for classes. Whether it's money, donated items, volunteering, etc if we can help out the school in any way, we have succeeded.
